Refund Policy

1. Overview

Live Interview AI offers a Free tier so you can evaluate the Service before subscribing. We encourage all users to try the Free tier before upgrading to Pro. This policy outlines the terms for refunds on paid subscriptions.

2. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation:

  • Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period
  • No further charges will be applied after cancellation
  • Your account reverts to the Free tier at the end of the billing period

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are available under the following conditions:

  • Within 7 days of initial purchase: Full refund if you are not satisfied with the Pro tier, provided you have used fewer than 20 questions
  • Service outage: Pro-rated refund if the Service is unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours during your billing period
  • Billing errors: Full refund for duplicate charges or incorrect billing amounts

4. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds are not available for:

  • Subscriptions active for more than 7 days (unless due to service outage or billing error)
  • Dissatisfaction with AI-generated answer quality (the Free tier allows evaluation before purchase)
  • Failure to cancel before the next billing cycle
  • Accounts terminated due to Terms of Service violations
  • Partial month/year usage after the 7-day window

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at [email protected] with:

  • Your registered email address
  • Date of purchase
  • Reason for refund request

We aim to process all refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.

6. Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions follow the same 7-day refund window from the date of purchase. After 7 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable but can be cancelled to prevent renewal. You retain Pro access for the remainder of the annual period.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes apply to purchases made after the update date. Existing subscriptions are governed by the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
